Hmm, believe it or not that this season of Big Brother is all about brotherhood, sisterhood, neighborhood and of course countryhood-if at all it existed in the English dictionary!
Well, I have come with all this analysis basing on Beverly’s revelations today, some happenings earlier this season and a few moments from the last season of Big Brother.
This afternoon during her Diary session, Nigeria’s Beverly said that she’s very sure that Melvin can’t swap her for eviction and if he tries it out, his head would be put down by the Nigerians. ” I am feeling very safe, I know that Melvin couldn’t swap me up for himself because if he does that, my country would shoot him,” Beverly told Biggie.
Basing on this and a few more incidences in the chase, I can surely say that the chasers are chasing as a team-that’s to say, brothers and sisters or countrymates. This has not only been with the Nigerians but also the Ghana pair Selly and Elikem as the two love to play the game together in the same House-this has been seen when the two swapped each other to the House they are. Zimbabwe’s Pokello was also strongly gutted when she came to learn that her brother Hakeem was kicked out of the house.
I believe this puts the chase onto a far more different platform compared to last season’s stargame. It was last season that we saw Zimbabweans Roki and Maneta(If you still remember them) nominating each other for possible eviction and at the end fought and eventually got disqualified. This was not only the Stargame’s pair that clashed, but also Kenya’s Alex nominated his countryman for Prezzo for possible eviction.
This proves that there is so much love between countrymates this season compared to how it was the case during Stargame. The challenge will only show up when a few of them remain in the House.
